Hi, thanks for checking out my site. For those of you who are interested I thought I’d share my story with you.
My name is Fiona Hamilton and I’ve been a mom for 4 great years now to two beautiful kids Anna (four) and Benjamin (10 months). I still remember the first time I heard about the scare about the harsh chemicals a company I won’t name was using in the inks on their baby pajamas. Well, it’s wasn’t the company really, it was the factory in China they hired to make the pajamas. Anyway, that got me wondering about toxins in other areas of our lives and how that relates to being a good parent.
That’s where my love affair with learning about companies that actually seem to care about the products they make – and how those products impact our children and our environment. Afterall, there were 3 billion people on earth when I was born and there is more than double that now and I definitely want my grandchildren to grow up in a world where there are still lions, tigers and eagles!
One thing led to another and I completely fell in love with being an “organic parent” wherever possible. Given the choice between chemical product or an organic alternative, I know what I’m choosing for my kids!
I live in California and when I do get a moment to myself I like to go for walks and enjoy the sunshine while I get to stretch my legs.
